Hearthstone Psychology was created with a vision of uniting like-minded mental healthcare specialists to serve greater Dayton, Ohio with compassion, experience and a fresh outlook on mental wellness. Working through a lens of cultural competency and humility, we are committed to providing inclusive care to all our clients, together with the LGBTQ+ community and people of color. Our staff of dedicated psychologists, social workers, marriage and family therapists, and licensed professional counselors is educated and trained in multi-modal approaches to therapy (e.g., family systems, psycho-dynamic, humanistic, behavioral, feminist and interpersonal) to customize treatment to clients’ evolving needs.

Master’s-level Mental Health Therapist, Marriage and Family Therapist or Social Worker:

We are excited to announce that Hearthstone Psychology has a full-time independent contractor position available for our Dayton office. Hearthstone Psychology believes representation matters. We are looking for masters-level clinicians with a strong background in clinical counseling and a commitment to multicultural practices. Demonstrated experience and competence with different modalities is essential, along with attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and an attitude of intellectual curiosity. Interest in working with children and families strongly preferred. 

Post-doctoral Fellow:

We have a full-time position available for a post-doctoral fellow starting after completion of internship. The Fellow will provide individual, couples and group therapy in a private practice setting. They will also provide umbrella supervision to doctoral students. There are opportunities to build new programs (e.g. assessment, training, workshops) within the practice. Supervisor has expertise in child therapy, family and couples, LGBTQ+ issues, and trauma (both combat and abuse related). We also specialize in working with the Transgender community.

Masters Level Traineeship:


We have a part-time position available for a Masters-level Trainee in Professional Counseling, Social Work and Marriage and Family Therapy, for practicum and internship completion. The CT will provide individual, couples and group therapy in a private practice setting. Individual and group supervision will be provided by an LPCC-S, IMFT-S or LISW-S. We are not currently offering a Psychology Internship position.
